:skull: Okay so... i never ended up painting the bear. Instead, my awesome teacher just told me, "Yeah, i see the metaphor here. Why don't you just draw the fight??"

And so i did. And it turned out freaking sweet. Pix later. As well as my other paintings from the semester. They're okay... but i really found my "style" with that last one. Or at least i'm getting one step closer to it (hooray!).

:skull: Lately i've been trying to start up my new blog site... details on that later. Keep your ears open!

:skull: I'm really eager to start a new semester of sculpture. Every night i go to bed thinking about the numerous badass things i could accomplish with my hands. Yes, i have a hard-on for sculpture, hence the title. So be it! I can't help it... i just want to make stuff, with my own bare mitts! *(and borrow an electric drill+wood so i can finally make that fucking shelf at home)

:skull: Cool stuff:
Holy shit! This looks like a space colony! [link]

:skull: Me & steve counting down til LEFT FOR DEAD comes out. Should be epic.

:skull: blah... gotta work on my final piece. I have something in mind, very neoclassical and dramatic, but with SLAYING A BEAR. Should be pretty dope...seeing as how its gonna be pretty big. Need to save my jewgolds in order to get it accomplished tho...

:skull: finished downloading every issue of heavy metal. Now i'm even more lost in comics than i've ever been, although this time i'm indulging in sifi/fantasy instead of lowbrow /typical DC Marvel comics. Its nice to indulge in guilty pleasures. Because if my friends actually read this and knew that i liked reading about dragons and shit like that i'd probably shoot myself.

:skull: also finished downloading Tank Girl the movie... fuck i love that movie. I don't care if its horrible, it has a good soundtrack and i think its full of LULZ

:skull: I'm starting to really like the city, although i wish i had more spending money. Maybe its time to pick up a new job? Nah...i have no responsibility where i'm at. Thats how life should be.

Guess who?

:skullbones: AS Of NOW:
Usually i don't write in my journals when my subscription is done in order to keep the prettiness of the page, but then i decided what the hay. DA has always been good to me, so why cheat the system if the system isn't bad?

I guess a lot of you are wondering what i've been up to lately. Well, i've had a lot of crazy personal experiences, and have grown as a person and an artist. I've also ventured out into a city i know nothing about. Hence why i can't even afford a simple subscription: life is kicking me in the ass.

As of late, i've been living in San Francisco going to SF State. I enjoy it a lot there, and my teachers are pretty sweet. Its weird living on my own, but i'm here with my boyfriend so i guess its not that bad. I've also meet a strange amount of friends who are pretty out there (in a good way).

Most of my work is too large for me to scan and i take awful pictures, so that's why i never update anymore. I can say that hopefully in the short future i can change that and display my progressing work up here because i really like where its going. Sooner or later it'll be up tho, so no worries.

:skullbones:AS IT IS:

:pumpkin: I almost got the shit kicked out of me at a party by a guy twice my size =$ i think i'll live tho, only came out with a few bruises. Plus i talked to the guy... he's really sorry. And if he wasn't then he definitely is now.
:pumpkin: LOVE FEST was last weekend. Some how me and a whole group of friends ended up in the parade. HOLLA! I also saw lots of ass cheeks... it was pretty wild.
:pumpkin: I'm pretty sure my sculpting teacher and one of the painting teachers get high together during class... i have no proof of this, but nor do i have a problem with it.
:pumpkin: This guy named Footgeek just added a really old picture i took of my legs (i took it as a reference) when i was 15. Don't know how to feel about that... MOVING ON
:pumpkin: I read this little ditty [link] and i liked it.
:pumpkin: As far as blogging goes, i think Uber.com is the tits.
:pumpkin: FINALLY got over my fear of watching Total Recall, and just accepting it for the awesomeness that it is. Three titties and all.
:pumpkin: I read this [link] and am still loving it
:pumpkin: And now i'm going to make a breakfast burrito

:skull: RECENT NEWS: i'm moving to SF by august 1st. So yeah... i'm finally doing it, moving out of my parents house.

I figured... i don't want to stay there til i'm 30. And the time is right to go pursue the fine arts in the big city so.. wish me luck everybody!

On a side note: i'm trying to get weedwacking jobs to help gain some extra cash. But if there is any commission work out there give me a hoot and holla.

Thee end.

ps. Remember kids, American Apparel is ruining America. And so are dirty hipster kids.

pps. I can't believe they didn't continue this show [link]
